I guess they had to make a compromise somewhere since these cleats are often on sale for $70 or less - I got mine for under $40 after stacking a coupon code with an existing sale, so that's why in the end I rated it 4 stars instead of lower - but to me making the compromise at the soleplate is one of the worst decisions, since you literally feel like you're running in sand. The soleplate is so stiff that you cannot do any real planting or explosive movements off your backfoot. And that's too bad as I feel everything else about this shoe is at least four out of five stars, including the synthetic leather which has a suppleness that rivals the quality of others much more expensive. Also of note is it runs about a quarter size long, so you might need to wear an extra sock, or thicker socks.
