Sole is quiet stiff
Upper has much better lockdown and the ae1
There is a lip on the heel which can feel quiet big and like your going to slip out of the shoe when you first wear it but it’s fine
Grip is quiet good
The shoe is comfortable overall,quiet a snug fit but will take some breaking in. If you have really wide feet I wouldn’t recommend.
Overall if you buy them on sale they’re a solid choice to have in your rotation
